About The Artist
Eric Merced is a Comic Book Artist and Illustrator based in New England. His work is mostly digital, created in an iMac using a Wacom Cintiq and software like Manga Studio EX, Sketchbook Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator. His art style is a fun mixture of many inspirational sources including western comic arts, Manga art, and Disney cartoons. About The Comic
Frank Rain was created in 2008. It was Eric’s version of a Noir Detective story set in the future. In 2010 Eric decided it was time to tell Frank’s story and began to publish it as a web comic online. It was at this time when Eric decided to add the cybernetic arm and hand that has set the character apart from the traditional noir Detectives. Frank Rain is a labor of love that continues to evolve as time goes on.
